Plasma Fission :

Vel’Koz shoots a bolt of plasma that splits in two on reactivation or upon hitting an enemy. The bolt slows and damages on hit.
Void Rift :

Vel’Koz opens a rift to the void that deals an initial burst of damage, then explodes for a second burst of damage after a delay.
Tectonic Disruption :

Vel’Koz causes an area to explode, knocking up enemies, and knocking close enemies slightly away.
Life Form Disintegration Ray :
(120/100/80s Cooldown)
Vel’Koz unleashes a channelled beam that follows the cursor for 2.5 seconds that deals magic damage. Organic Deconstruction Researches enemy champions causing them to take true damage instead.

Counter-Tips:
- Vel’Koz has a kit consisting of 4 skillshots making him very vulnerable to champions with dashes.
- Save your heavy CC to interrupt his Lifeform Disintegration Ray. It hits heavily and can be the difference from winning and losing team fights.
- Abusing his slow moving ultimate with a dash or a blink into / behind Vel’Koz.
- A lot of Vel’Koz’ damage is applied by his passive which applies true damage. Thus stacking MR against him is less effective than against other magic damage casters. Try to wait out stacks applied beforehand before engaging.
